What Types of Dental Bridges Do You Offer?

In this video, Dr. Aaron Bratton explains how dental bridges offer an effective solution for replacing missing teeth when implants aren’t an option. Schedule a consultation at Atkins Dental Clinic today to explore how a custom bridge can restore your smile and function.

If you come in for an implant consultation and it turns out there isn’t enough bone to support an implant, there is still a way to replace your missing tooth. As long as the space is between two healthy existing teeth, we can restore the area using a dental bridge.

A bridge works by preparing the two adjacent teeth for crowns, which serve as anchors. The replacement tooth is attached to these crowns as a single unit, spanning the gap between them. This approach provides a strong and functional replacement when an implant isn’t an option.

While the fundamental design of a bridge remains the same, we offer different material options. Most patients opt for porcelain or ceramic for a natural appearance, but if you’re looking for something unique, we’ve also made gold bridges, and even customized a few with diamonds or other embellishments.

Our goal is to provide a solution that fits both your needs and preferences. If you have a special request, just ask—we’re happy to explore your options.

Dental Implants in Little Rock, AR: What To Know Before Treatment

Progress in health and science rarely stops at proving that something works. It continues by improving access, refining techniques, and expanding who can safely receive care. Traditional implants established a reliable way to replace missing teeth, restore function, and support long-term oral health. Ongoing innovation then focused on reducing surgical demands, shortening recovery, and helping patients who were not [...]

Common Dental Sedation Questions Answered

For many patients, the most difficult part of dental treatment begins well before they sit in the chair. Unease can build in the days leading up to an appointment, sometimes showing up as mild nervousness, sometimes as genuine fear. These reactions are extremely common. Studies estimate that about 36% of adults in the United States experience dental anxiety, and [...]

How Mini Implant Treatment Expands Patient Eligibility

Eligibility is a concept we encounter constantly, even outside healthcare. Movies carry ratings. Rollercoasters post height requirements. Nutrition plans outline restrictions, and medications list safety warnings. These boundaries are not meant to frustrate us. They exist because research, experience, and safety considerations define limits that reduce risk. In dentistry, eligibility carries even greater weight because it is tied directly [...]

Attachment-Free Clear Aligners: Are They Effective?

When people think about clear aligners, they usually picture smooth, transparent trays that fit over the teeth. What often comes as a surprise is that many aligner treatments also rely on small additions placed directly on the teeth. These are called clear aligner attachments. Attachments are small, tooth-colored pieces of composite resin that we bond to certain teeth at [...]

Understanding Dental Anxiety: Causes, Symptoms, and Support

You cannot see anxiety the way you can see a cut or a bruise. But many people carry it with them every day. The word anxiety is often used casually to describe moments of stress or unease, but the experience goes far deeper for those who live with it. In clinical terms, anxiety becomes a diagnosis only when it [...]

How Full Arch Teeth Improve Comfort and Stability

When you think about full arch teeth supported by implants, you might wonder if they offer a stronger, more dependable option than what you have now. That question is more common than you might expect, especially for people who have spent years working around limitations instead of having something that feels steady from the start. Think about a simple [...]

Are Implant Dentures Better Than Regular Dentures? [A Video Guide]

When people ask if implant dentures are better than regular dentures, it helps to pause and think about what “better” means to you. Are you focused on comfort? Do you want something that stays in place when you talk or eat? Are you hoping for a solution that feels more like your own teeth? Traditional dentures often fall short [...]

Clear Aligners in Atkins: How Alignment Supports Comfort and Oral Health

People often feel drawn to things that look balanced and well-organized, even if they’re not consciously thinking about it. Psychologists describe this as a natural preference for symmetry and order, the same instinct that makes a neatly arranged shelf or a perfectly aligned picture frame feel satisfying. Our brains process these patterns more easily, so they feel calm, clear, [...]
